Food was great and staff very helpful. Only downside was the very cold venue. Drinks could have been made better by just going for the classic margarita version. Wine recommendation was also very good!

Canaima Restaurant

I love this warm place, ideal for a meal between friends or a pro rdv. I came with a stick without any problems of place. It&#39;s always good and copious.To recommend closed eyes.

7pm reservation- only 3 couples dined while we were there.  Wine was good.  Food ok.  Other surrounding restaurants were very full and busy, even at the earlier hour.  Not bad, just better options.  Skip this one and head over to Bouchon Comptoir Brunet.  Better food, service, &amp; ambience.  Better price too.

This small independent restaurant is an extraordinary find! We had the most sublime and memorable dinner combining unusual flavours and ingredients. Exceptional dining at ordinary (lower than many) prices! Loved the faded grandeur of the decor and the welcome from chef Ivan - who trained with Marco Pierre White and Paul Bocuse - was so warm and welcoming. Lovely waitress too. Choose this place - you won&rsquo;t forget it in a hurry.

What a lovely, lively restaurant in the beautiful city of Lyon and what a find for our first night here. Veronica and her front of house team were warmly welcoming and Andr&eacute;s&lsquo; food was a real treat. The menu is limited, but what it lacks in variety it makes up for ten times over in flavours and quality. We loved our evening here.

A very very good restaurant, small in size but offering the highest quality food and service - in a town that &ldquo;gets food&rdquo;.The portions were fantastically balanced, just the right quantity yet each utterly delicious, hard to find any fault - well done.If my wife and I visit Lyon again we will be back this place is a must try!

I&rsquo;m not a huge foodie but I thought I would try a couple of the Michelin restaurants while in Lyon. Canaima did not disappoint. Food was even better than I was expecting. Quaint little unassuming location with great food and good service. Small deficiency due to waitress spilling red wine on table (I think she might have been new and unaccustomed to pouring wine).
